THE BEERTAILOR
Gábor Szabó, the owner of the company, has realised an old dream. He wanted to create a premium craft beer brand that would stand its ground in Hungary and even abroad. For him, this is not just one investment among many, but a hobby, and he even learned the trade before he started his brewery. His first job was in a brewery in the late 90s and he fell in love with the business.
The name comes from the family name and the way the recipes were invented and "tailored". His mother used to sew a lot on a Singer sewing machine in their kitchen when the owner was a child, so naturally a sewing machine was used to complete the logo. The tagline is “What’s Your size?”
became the logo. What’s Your size? It’s the first question a tailor asks when it comes to clothes. What’s your size? (glass, jug?)
On the labels of beers, the accessories used for the tailor’s craft are shown as pictograms.
Currently, the following 6 types of beer are available, but the family will be extended soon PILSNER – thimble; WIT – safety pin; APA – thread; IPA – button; RED ALE – scissors; PORTER – sewing machine oiler.
The glass is a unique Italian design, its shape is unmistakable, so we strive for a harmony of interior and exterior uniqueness. We are passionate about brewing and to achieve this we combine traditional brewing methods with the most advanced technology.
To achieve perfect quality, just to name a few, we provide germ and dust free air throughout the brewery. With BWT water purification equipment, we can create a unique water profile for each of our beers to bring out the most characteristic flavour of the beer type and in addition to these we also have a yeast centrifuge, special filtration system, cold hopping equipment and a professional German bottling – canning – filling line.
